1. The most important points first

This website does not measure reach and does not use any advertising tools. Your browsing behaviour is neither analysed nor tracked.

Fonts, program libraries and stylesheets are delivered from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other provider takes place.

The videos on our project pages are an exception: they are hosted on YouTube. Please see section 6 for details.

There is no contact form on this website. You can reach us by telephone and by e-mail.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider. The personal data collected on this website is stored on that provider’s servers. This concerns primarily IP addresses as well as meta and communication data.

4. Server log files

When you access this website, your browser automatically transmits information that is stored in what are known as server log files:

• operating system used
• referrer URL, that is, the page visited previously
• host name of the accessing computer
• time of the server request
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless presentation and the security of this website.

5. Cookies

This website sets one technically necessary cookie: when you confirm the privacy notice, your browser remembers this confirmation so that the notice does not reappear on every page. This cookie contains no personal data and is not transmitted to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Videos hosted on YouTube

On our project pages we show videos that are hosted on YouTube. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The preview images are stored on our own server. As soon as a video is loaded or played, your browser establishes a connection to YouTube’s servers. YouTube thereby learns which of our pages you have visited and receives your IP address. YouTube may store cookies on your device or use comparable technologies. If you are logged in to YouTube, your behaviour may be associated with your account; you can prevent this by logging out before your visit.

This processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out; it is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission.

7. Enquiries by telephone or e-mail

If you call or write to us, we store and process your enquiry including all personal data arising from it in order to handle your request. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in handling the enquiries addressed to us.

Your data remains with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose for storing it ceases to apply. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods under commercial and tax law – remain unaffected.

8. Encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in the address bar and by the padlock symbol in your browser. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

10. Objection to promotional e-mails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published within the scope of our legal notice obligations for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and information material. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event that unsolicited advertising is sent to us.

11. Status of this policy

This privacy policy is dated 8 September 2026. Should this website or the legal requirements change, we will amend the text accordingly.
